You are invited to join our next theology debate on "The Father's Heart and Suffering"
Are the loving Heavenly Father's promises suspended in times of trials and persecution? How do we reconcile the Father's Heart message with suffering?
The main speaker will be Andrew Brunson. Dan Slade and others on the global theology initiative team will take part in discussing how, scripturally, we reconcile the Father Heart message with suffering.
Andrew and Norine Brunson were involved in starting churches, training, aid to refugees and a house of prayer in Turkey for 23 years until being falsely accused of terrorism in October 2016. After this Andrew was held for two years in Turkish prisons. Due to a worldwide prayer movement and significant pressure from the US government, he was finally sentenced and then dramatically released in October 2018. He has written a book, "GOD'S HOSTAGE" detailing his imprisonment, brokenness, and eventual freedom. Andrew has a PhD from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Andrew and Norine have three grown children.
